Rustling of leaves and falling acorns
Velvet covered antlers turning to horns
Whitetails changing color, from summer reds to winter grays
With cooler nights and shortening days
Autumn colors glowing in the sun
The smell and look of a new shotgun
Travel corridors, fresh rubs, and new scrapes
Hot does, deep grunts, and peak rut dates
“V’s” in the sky with snow geese calling
Bright colored leaves slowly falling
Birds gathering to head south
Squirrels running with acorn in mouth
Bow, quivers, and carbon arrows
Overhead flocks of red wing sparrows
Stand and blinds on trees and ground
New hunting acres and companions found.
Ahhh, Fall…..Nature’s Viagra
